Hey i was wondering which set up i should use for my ram speed and timings. keep in mind my chipset has a limit where it can only allow 3 channels to run at DDR2 1066. my original plan was to buy 3 X 2 GB DRR 2 1066 and clock at 5-5-5-15. but a friend says to get 4 X 2 DDR 2 800 and clock them at 4-4-4-12. he claims that it has improved speed over the 1066 set up because of the 2 dual channels. is this true and which set up should i go with?

You friend is correct - 3 modules will not allow all memory to run in dual channel. You could buy 800 MHz memory modules like the G.Skill PI Black, G.Skill HK or other modules having similar characteristics with 4-4-4-12 timings at 1.8V. Four modules work fine on most motherboards (you didn't specify which one you bought).
