PLZ HELP

do i need 4 cores???? gta4, fsx, future games?

You don't need 4 cores... but if you are going to spend that much on a processor anyway you might as well spend the little bit more for a q6600.
I'd go for an Arctic 7 cooler. It's good and cheaper.
For the video card I'd just get an HD4850 for now. It's still the best deal around and should handle the resolutions you mentioned fine. If you decide you need better you can always get another and crossfire.
