Determining + and - on front cables

Last response: in Systems

Hi,
I'm currently sitting here with my first try at a homebuilt system, however the cables from the front of my chassis still has to be attached to my motherboard. The current problem being, that there's no - or + signs on them - Instead they're marked with a triangle and a "G". Is there any way to tell what sign is the +?

Thanks in advance!

If the Power and Drive LED's do not come on, reverse their connections. Power and Reset switches are not polarized, so their orientation does not matter.

Well that's good to know for another time. Damn manual told me explicitly, that it was VERY important that I got the polars right.

A little bonus question: Now that I got the PC booted up, how do I make the PC recognize the DVD-drive, so I can install an OS?
