Hi. I have to deliver this computer in a few hours and I'm running into this problem:

- I bought a ECS GeForce6100PM-M2 v2 motherboard

- The set-up program in the CD-Rom included with the mobo does not work (the set-up program run into a "Access violation" problem)

- If I use the "Add New Hardware" routine in XP, the Ethernet Controller device does not recognize any driver in the CD-Rom as his

- I downloaded the most recent LAN drivers from the ECS web site (Nvidia MCP61 Fast Ethernet NIC Driver). Still, the Ethernet Controller device does not recognize any driver. And there is no installer program with it.

I did not install the NAM software from nVidia, because of its very bad reputation.

So, I can't access the Internet, making this brand new computer useless. Any advice?

Well if the drivers off ECS website dont work and the cd doesnt work, I'd rma the mobo. Of course thats not really an option right now right?
Maybe go buy a cheap nic card for like $10?
