hi when i do my next build im looking to overclock my i7 930 past the 4.2ghz mark. i am considering watercooling and wondered if a single 120mm rad (tfc rad + koolance cpu 360) would be sufficient to cool it. thanks.

Hmmm. I seriously doubt that would be enough rad for that Oc on the 930. I recommend at least a 2x120mm rad with 4 fans in a push pull config.
You could go with this kit: Swiftech H20-220-APEX ULTIMA CPU Liquid Cooling Kit w/ Apogee XT for $240 and add 2 more fans and it should cool it quite well.

If you're looking to just hit 4.2, I'd stick w/ air .... it's certainly doable.
If you're looking 4.5 ...well than I'm thinking ya gotta go water.
