CPU cooler advice

hello,

I'm searching a CPU Cooler and I have:

CPU: Phenom 550, with 4 cores and OC at 3.7

Board: M4A785TD-V EVO[

Case: nzxt gamma

Can you point me the best cooler for each one of this price range:

20 - 30
30 - 40
40 - 50

and the performance difference (or some links where I can find it)?

I'll probably buy the cooler in one of this websites:

The more important is to have at full load < 45º c (if it's fisically possible with air cooling )

What is ur budget?

U need a cooler not more big that 190mm. This seems as a good option.

I dont know yet how mutch will spend, but I will not get anything more expensive than a Thermalright IFX-14.

Yes but you need to know how to read this temps, is little strange.... These not real temps, how you think.

This is with only 50% fan speed...

So CM Hyper 212+ is better cooler (i go with TX3 only becouse 212+ don't fit in my case, but 190mm will be good), take him.

the hyper 212+ looks good, but no local store have it, and it will cost more 10$ than TITAN Fenrir

Yes, Titan Fenrir is one of the best cooler. If you can't buy 212+ than go for Titan Fenrir, but be sure to fit in you'r case.....

is it normal for the base of a CPU cooler to be almost 3 mm smaller than the CPU?

Because that happen between a red scorpion and a phenom 550

^That cooler is a "direct contact" cooler, so, the size of the base of the cooler isn't very important as the numbers of heat pipes.

I have phenom 550 x4 @ 3.6, 1.435v, that gest to 54º C when using prime95. Idle is 33ºC

I'm using revoltec thermal grease diamond and Red Scorpion

Dont know the room's temp, but outside temps can go from 16ºc to 25ºC without changing any thing.

MB's temps go from 29ºC to 32ºC

EDIT: 57ºC after oc'ing RAM

1- U have unlocked the 2 cores and OC the CPU, and for that prime95 is a heavy test.
2- Ur temps in idle are fine

^The NH-D14 is one of the best cooler that exist today and I don't think that have those problems or will not have the lot of buyers that have.
