Is that normal or hot?

Hi guys,

I have a system as:
Intel E8400 3.00 Ghz
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L
A-DATA 2x2GB RAM
Palit 4830
..
..
..

The thing is GPU-Z shows that my GPU's temperature is 40 C. Is that normal? It seemed to me like it is a bit higher than expected.

What do you think

Try a little google.

40C ? Haha , HardDrives push that temperature, that's nothing for a GPU.

Expect to see twice that temperature under stressful situations.

wtf? that is freaking cool! Stop showing off. My 4870 idles at 55 - 60C.

That sucker will last you 5 years tops, if the fan still works.

@ shuaid, use the CCC to set your fan to 35%, my 4870 idles around 45C (albeit in cool, damp, wintry England).
