Right now i hav the Dell 2400mp projector on my computer. I have the i7 940, gtx295, evga x58 classified, 12gb or ddr3 1600 liquid cooling ect.... do you think that i sould swap to dual or tri 22" monitors or stay wit the projector?

yeah its a personal taste. Your projector pros a huge screen. but probably not very bright. You mentioned tri screens, if you have 2 videocards, usually each supports 2 for a total of 4 screens. You can have triple monitors+the projector: Quads.

Personally I'm not a fan of projectors because of the lack of blinds on my skylights which would make it rather impossible to enjoy during daylight hours.

As for a tri-monitor setup, I had a http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/ up until about 6 months ago and really liked it.
