LUT's and calibration

LUT Look up table. Calibration puck looks at color patchs on monitor, calibration software creates a profile that is applied to the video Look Up Table to give adjusted, accurate color. So I need a video card that supports LUT's. Am I safe to assume that all current cards do use LUT's

Reason: I use Monaco Optix for calibration for photos work to make a living. I need a new card. Manufacturer's site says this about compatible video cards:

"the video card must also support LUTs (lookup tables). The manufacturer of your video card can tell you if the card supports LUTs."

that info is somewhat dated - do all current video cards nVidia and Radeon chipset support LUT's?

I like these two cards:

I use Photoshop PS CS2. The newest version of Photoshop DOES utilize video card resources directly. I dont use that yet, but want to be upgradable.
