Hi There,

i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice....

i am looking to update my computer from:

Asus-A8NE (mATX)
AMD 64 3000+
1Gb Ram
Geforce 7600GS
120GB HDD

to a bundle i found:

AMD X2 6000 AM2
2048MB DDR2 667 RAM
MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI Motherboard (mATX)
Novatech NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB

I was wondering, seeing as i havent done this before, if i would encounter any problems with the swap over in components or any potential conflicts in installing the new stuff. Or there is a guide i could read detailing how to do this.

Any information would be be great :D

The only thing you need to worry about is the power supply.

However, you need to be aware that the CPU isn't too hot. AMD doesn't have any really fast CPUs at the moment.

See my signature for more info.

yes that PSU would be iffy. I would really look the the required power for that GPU.

Anytime you change a major part in a system you need to re-install Windows. No question.

We all start someplace, good luck on the build.
