Building a gaming PC

Hi there

I'm planning on building a new gaming pc (my current one is pretty old , P4 processor )

Budget around 1000-1200$

i'v been thinking of something like

Q9550 Processor
4870 1GB Video card
4GB DDR2 1066 ram
Asus or Gigabyte MoBo , haven't got much exprience on hardware
850W Zalman PS

any suggestions?

And would it be better to wait few months and get I7 or the new AMD Processor and seeing prices will drop might get X2 4870 or the new GTX 295 depending on the prices

Note that nearly 95% of my pc use is gaming , and the other 5% is web surfing and movies video etc..

i said that i might get 4870x2 if i wait for the new processors to come (like 6 months of or so)

but for now i'm aiming for 1 4870 so should cost 200$ less

or would GTX280 be better? seeing that it has PhysX

and should i wait for the new processors?
