Total 781 $ with the e8400 and 800$ with q6600. If you want to get gpu/cpu liquid cooled it will take you around 1000-1100 $.
WIth this setup you will be able to play every game or most of them at max settings. Its not the most powerful rig, but for this budget is a kickass setup. THe first setup you mentioned would get probably bottlenecked by the cpu and mobo, the 2nd one is ok, and with the 3rd one you will get poor performance. For a few + try the setup that i wrote, for just 180$ more, all your games will run smooth and maxed out, and the case is awesom D.
i agree with everthing the guy above me said, except
graphics card- dont go xfx, they have poor customer support
case- haf 932 is about $60 more, but oh so worth it.
