I dont really know what section this would go in, but anyway. How do you activate quiet boot, where apparently it displays the splash screen as soon as you hit the power button. I heard it was in the bios, does anyone know how to activated it. Also, if i did activate it, would i still be able to access the bios and the safe mode, and can i use it with multiple operating systems (Windows Vista & Windows 7 RC)

Thanks in advance,

Charlie

You probably are referring to Quick Boot. You need to provide more info because it's configured in the BIOS, but it's difficult to answer if we don't know what motherboard you have.

Yh, thnx for the reply.

Might be called quick boot, where it makes the post operating system tests (black writing) appear as the splash screen. I have a DFI Lan Party DK motherboard with a phoneix BIOS. I just want to know where its located and if i could still access the BIOS and diagnostic features. Thnx[

Set "Quick Power On Self Test" in "Advanced BIOS Features" to Enabled. You'll still be able to access all features.
