Hello,
i want to upgrade my ami bios

Flashing your BIOS can be a perilous operation resulting in no computer at all. You're going to need a floppy disk and a drive to put it in. Do you have a very string reason for wishing to do this?

Go to your motherboard manufacturer's web site and download the bios and installer. Read their directions carefully. As saga layout mentions, be careful when doing this.

Some motherboards come with a utility to update the bios from within windows. This is easier than the dos based installer, but I don't recommend it.
