MoBo: Gigabyte MA790XT CPU: Phenom II 955 DDR3: OCZ 2x2 1333 I put all that together and my PC is quite slow (my old Athlon XP 3800 works faster). Tried to change CPU clock multiplier in BIOS to Auto / x4 / x16 - nothing helps. CPU-Z always shows x4 and CPU frequency 800. DDR3 set to 6-6-6-20. Could anybody advise detailed BIOS settings (frequencies, multipliers, voltages). Thanks in advance. Vadim.
I had the same problem. Updating the bios to F4A did the trick, luckily I read that in one of the review on neweggs site so I knew upfront the first thing I had to do before getting to cozy with it was update the bios. Good luck.
Its just cool and quiet running. (power saving feature) Put the system under load and the speeds should kick up to what you have set in bios..
