ok right now i got an 1920x1080p monitor hooked up to a hp laptop. its a peice of crap vista hp 1gb ram 1.7ghtz core 2 duo x3100 media accelerator graphics. I noticed on thing with high graphics like backgrounds and webpages the pixels seem to be flickering like when i turn aero on vista but on like plain white backgrounds its fine. Is this because this laptop has a tuff time pushing such a high res or is there something wrong with the screen? I know the x3100 is a peice of junk and overheats but any input?? thanks. hopefully i dotn have to return the monitor.

the laptop is just to weak to run that resolution.
