Hi, I have a system I am puting the motherboard I have is an ASUS P5K Premium (black pearl edition) and an E6850 intel cpu with Corsair 8500 ram with a Gforce 8800GT Graphics card and have just been given a "Sapphire vapor-x" graphics card which I am told is not compatible with the setup as it is pcie v2.0. I would like to get a motherboard with pcie v2.0 for future reference and would like to know what you have found as a good sound motherboard.

It supports PCI Express 2.0; it doesn't require it. The card will work in a PCI 1.x slot.

Hi, many thanks for the reply but I have now changed the system to an Asus P5Q-E motherboard to put the Vapor-x in and will use the other one as a testbed system.
