Hi, I have been givan a see through case which i presume is acrylic, the computer shop says to be cautious as they build up static and to put a piece of wire from my motherboard screw to the psu mounting screw and also do this with each of my graphics cards, he says the cases are generally for display purposes. Is this really nessesary?

I'd recommend not sliding it round the carpet too much or rubbing your leg on, but outside of that you should be fine!
