Hi all,

I've been going over these forums awhile trying to decide what parts to get and I have come up with most of them, but I have a few questions that hopefully you can help with.

Here is what I have so far.

CPU: Intel 8400
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX
RAM: OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
Video: Powercooler 4830
HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA
Optical: Lite on dvd-r(the one everyone recommends)
OS: Vista 64bit

With this build I plan on being able to game for awhile and if need be I will overclock later. My current computer has lasted about 4 yrs and I am hoping this can last as long especially since I can upgrade video card later and overclock. Mostly I play online MMOs like Warcraft, however I also like trying other FPS types once in awhile.

My questions are:

1. I currently have a CRT Gateway EV910 monitor that can go up to 1600 x 1200 at 60refresh. I plan on upgrading later to 19-22 inch LCD with the same resolution later. Will the 4830 video card be good for this resolution?

2. I noticed a lot of people suggest the antec 300, however I seen the Antec sonato comes with a 500 watt earth Antec PSU for only 99 dollars. Is this a good deal and will the case have decent airflow if I decide to OC later? Also is that a decent PSU for a single card as I dont plan on crossfire.

I appreciate all your help! Any suggestions are welcome. Also I would like to keep the price down unless it is a necessity.

Thanks!

The sonatta is a pretty good case, and silent.

1. Yes/may be. That depends on game, for example you should be able to play on med settings with ease on Crysis at that resolution with the 4830. All maxed out for things like CoD2, Warcraft, etc.

2. Yes, it's a decent case.
