Hey quick easy question. I have this old computer an HP that i notice has a open PCI X16 slot. I was wondering if I ordered a ATI Card if it would work with it because it has a Integrated Nvida GFX Card. The computer runs fine its only about 5 years old. I wanting to put in a ATI 3850 or 3650 something around that series, willing to spend anywhere from 90 dollars or less.

With a 5 year old OEM PSU I`d go for the 4670/4650.

ill keep that in mind but my big question would there be any conflict with the built in Nvida GFX card and the new ATI card

You would need to go into the BIOS and turn off the internal GPU.

There should be no conflict, at worst you'd have to disable the onboard graphics like jsc said and load drivers. I also agree with above posters that the 4670 or the 4650 would be your best option.
