I just installed a intel dg45fc motherboard in a mini-itx aopen s-12a chassi.
The other components:
Intel E2200 CPU
Corsair TWIN2X PC6400 DDR2 2GB KIT CL5 memory
Picopsu 90 90 Watt
Samsung SpinPoint MP2 HM201JJ 200GB 7200rpm 8MB 2.5" SATA

I facing some problems when using the DVI socket. I must have a hdmi cabel connected to the motherboard to have picture over dvi on my LCD TV. If I remove the HDMI cabel I get ouf of range on the LCD TV...
This is only when I reach the operating system (I use Windows Vista 64bit).

Strange because I ain't over the hdmi channel on the LCD TV.

Another problem that I have if I activate dual core in the bios the OS won't boot. After BIOS a dos prompt come up and there it stops... I have to use single core...

Do you have a DVI to HDMI cable? Is the DVI port on the system board or display?

The DVI port is on the system board.

I have ordered a DVI to HDMI cable, maybe it's work with that.

It's maybe a driver question. When I boot up in safe mode it's working.
I'll check it out when I come home which driver that is currently installed.

Maybe I should use this one?

Update:

I got my DVI - HDMI cabel yesterday. Works with that but it's the same thing as hdmi - hdmi.

Picture get very high res and if I run in 1950x1080 The picture position is out of the LCD screen If I pull down the res the picture got to small for the lcd screen.

Any ideas?

I Really don't like the VGA with dvi splitter. The quality is very poor.
