Hello everyone.. first time poster...

I've been in the hunt for DDR2 dual channel memory and I'm seeing some in eBay and local buying/selling forums some 6400 that says "Works on AM2 and AM2+ motherboards only". Can this be true? Do they really not work on Intel boards?

I'd like to buy something generic so that I can use them on Intel boards later on if needed.
