Is there a way to find out how many watts my pc is drawing from the psu?

You can use a Kill-A-Watt.

Or post your specs if you want a guesstimate.

That will only give him an idea of AC use, he'll still have to guesstimate DC use based on his psu's efficiency.

^^

What can also be guesstimated. If the PSU is rated 80Plus then simply multiply the Kill-A-Watt reading by 80%. If the power supply is generic or from 2 years ago (or more) then multiply by 65% - 70% since that was roughly before the 80Plus standard became wide spread.

The difference between the outlet measured AC wattage and the estimated DC wattage is wasted in the form of heat.
