Ok I just today bought all the compenents to my brand new desktop. Im building tommorow and have some questions. I have this case http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] wer%20Case it has 6 fans and I was wondering where i should connect them. Do they go to the Mobo or the power supply?

My components consist of:

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] wer%20Case (Case)

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] CatId=3497 (Processor)

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] CatId=3670 (Video Card)

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] CatId=2459 (Hard Drive) (Its actually 640GB from wester digital but I couldn't find it on the website)

I bought this Mobo
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] CatId=2320 (Motherboard)

but I was looking for your opinions on which one you guys think were better

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] =P450-9120 (The other Motherboard I was looking at)

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] ULT-LSP650 (Power Supply)

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] CatId=3980 (RAM)

Had orginally thought this one but the guy at the store said this one is as fast at the 2GB one Above

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] CatId=3412 (Other RAM)

All advice and help is greatly aprecciated,

Thanks in Advance!

P.S. I Want to run World Of Warcraft and Counter Strike Source Mainly!

I looked at the Mobo and it says it has 2 Fan inputs ...1 for the CPU ...1 for the case... but my case has 6 fans and i want to use them all....do i have to get a new mother board=\

Any help is greatly appreciated

the fans are in most supposed to connect either to the mobo OR the psu:
if it is a three pin connecter,it goes to the motherboard on specifficly marked areas (e.g. cassis_1 fan, chassis_2 fan, power fan, ect.). if you plug your fan in the chassis fan slot, the mobo will recognize it as such and supply power to it and give you its stats under that name. the other type of connector is the 4-pin connecter. this one goes directly to the psu 4-pin connecters and its speed cannot be controlled by the mobo. these, however, can be manually controlled by fan controllers if you choose to buy them

Ah ok that makes sense...but will all 6 fans fit into the Mobo and the PSU? i was worried there wouldnt be enough slots to plug them in

the cpu fan will have its own spot to plug in on the mobo. the mobo can easly have another three for fans, and your psu will have a million 4-pin connectors (ironic b/c the only thing that can draw power from them are floppy drives, fans, and old IDE HDDs)
