I'm getting all my stuff tomorrow, but haven't decided on the main parts

Q9400 with Evga 750I FTW ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.146160 )
vs
Q6600 with Evga 780I FTW ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.146751 )

Please help me decide. I plan on over clocking, and hope to do gaming mostly, along with some multitasking, the chip and board will be paired with an Evga Gtx 260 with 216 cores, 4gb of 1066 Ocz reaper, a Zalman 9700 LED Cpu Cooler and a Antec 1200 case with a Antec TPQ-850W Psu that i already have...

Thanks in advance.....=P

I plan to have my next pc longer than the one I have right now, therefor I do intend to use Sli, when my vid Card gets to the point that cant handle newer games ill just add another one, I do want to buy the Q9400 but im going with combos to fit my budget, so its the Q9400 with the 750I wich is an exellent board, but i read some disapointing reviews about the q6600 being the best overclocking Quad, *not compare to the Q9550 and so on* so it can only be one or another, i just need some pointers like, why would the Q9400 will be better or if it will overclock nice with 750I or q6600 and 780i are just better beacuse of the overclocking abilities, i dont know you name it,, buying tonight so anything ill apreciated...

do youreslf a favor and get the 750iFTW because if your going to use tri-sli then god bless you because you have more money than brains. plus the q9400 is 45nm, is faster at stock speed/ with a quick bump to 400MHz (1600MHz quad-pumped) youll be running @ 3.2GHz!!! any higher would probably be a waste of power and heat!

Thanks ryanb, I did not see your comment up untill 7:30pm, I bough my stuff at 6:00pm.....I did got the 750I with Q9400 in the end, because I as well though Tri-sli is a waste of money, i was looking up at some bench marks and yeah there its a difference but just technical, meaning that when you actually there playing that Iceplace level with its intense graphics you cant see the difference, its there with number but u cant see it in its performance, so thats why i saved about 15 bucks buy going with the 750i and plus 30 mail in rebate..cant ask for more....thanx every1 for your support.. :p
