I am Currently using

OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory. *this memory is no longer being sold by new egg.


Mobo: EVGA 780i
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Yorkfield 2.5GHz LGA 775 95W
GFX: EVGA 280 GTX
OS: XP PRO SP3

Problem is when I have firefox and itunes opened for about an hour or two I am unable to right click anywhere, but my left click works sometimes. I believe it is a memory problem. Everything usually goes back to normal after i close out of everything.

Should i buy new ram or does anyone have any suggestions? i have been looking at:

OCZ Platinum 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
or
OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

umm, don't get a triple channel kit, get a dual channel kit

the triple channel is for the Core i7 processors

IdiotWithAGun mindless728 is right you can only use ddr2 on that mobo.and 1200 ddr2 is the highest it can use.hope this helps you out.

IdiotWithAGun yes they are good I have had mine for three years with no problem.

even though they are 800 ddr2 they have worked great. hope this helps you out.
