We trust results on a regular mobo from a hardware site that's not the INQ or Fudzilla OC on air with something like the TRUE etc.

Quoting a non-mainstream site isn't really that reliable.

I have found that if you pull the plug out, they'll undervolt all the way to zero. Just think of all the watts you'd be saving :).

Seriously, it sounds like an Atom-powered netbook would be ideal for you, esp. the SOC versions due out in a few months.

+1

TBH, if the clock is unattainable for the masses, its useless at best (unless you're a XS member of course).

Not that intel would ever do that with any of their cpu's .......

and btw they started with LN but once they get the thing down in temp they switch to liquid helium .

Yep ,its pointless for both intel and amd since the chip in my electronic toaster will do 6025 GHz on LH and it still wont burn bread any faster

Yea... lets use the extreme cooling OCing as a reason to get the chip. On air most seem to hit (from normal users) 3.8-4GHz. 4GHz for the better ones if you are lucky and get a better chip.

Advertising on THGFs now eh. Whats next? Actual groups and flame wars from AMD/Intel? That might be interesting. I would pop in to say AMD/Intel sucks to start up some flamage every now and then using a random username. That would be fun.... could bring masrhmellos and make Smores......

I dont see validation, its not hard to fake that stuff and we dont know if it crashed seconds later. if its real its really a great sign but INQ is notorious for bs stories. They are as bad as the enquirer, next theyll be saying the chip was used in an alien mating ritual and it spawned a 200ghz chip with artificial intelligence that can materialize in your brain and make you travel space time by thinking of it.

Youll wind up in an alien society on a world 200 gajillion light years away and learn technological secrets just before they eat you and send the chip back to earth :D

Thats more like the INQ I know ;)

Whoa, Verndewd! Long time no see! Welcome back to THG..

Sweet...so i need LN2 and need to hire a guy to sit there and pour it in for me

Also, i definitely saw the Prime test there, as well as that great vCore :heink:

So yes, I "do still think its fake...", or unrealistic numbers for marketing is more accurate
