Drivers are packaged in different ways, so you need to follow the directions that came with it. For example, some drivers come in an EXE, and you simply run it to install the driver. Others are individual files that you copy to a folder and either select the .inf file and select install, or you go into the Device Manager and manually update the driver.

However, if you do not yet have a driver then you need to identify the network controller and find a driver.
