What's difference between these two boards? Thinking about getting M4A78-E but find t-e board listed £20 more expensive.
As far as i can tell the only difference is the former support DDR2 only and the latter support DDR3 only.
Any other difference?

Main difference is m4a78-e support ddr2 and m4a78t-e support ddr3. m4a78t-e is am3 socket so only supports am3 cpu. whereas, m4a78-e is am2+ socket and can support both am3 cpu and am2+. also, m4a78-e only support one pcie at x16. whereas, m4a78t-e supports two pcie x16 for full x16 crossfire.

The m4a78t-e with ddr3 ram would it still work with a amd phenom ii 940 cpu installed and what ram speed would it give? I know i wont get ddr3 speeds as cpu controlled (am3)
I'm looking at these 2 for a new build. Upgrade cpu in the future.
