Ok on Saturday ( i know its useless to purchase on saturday but i did it anyway) i purchashed the parts for my new build

E8400

P5Q PRO

4GB Crucial 800MHz 4-4-4-12

Ultra 750w ( $50 from a friend )

Re-used Hdd & dvd drive

Cm-690 case

XFX 9800GTX+ ( $100 from a friend)

NOW the question is.... should i sell the 9800GTX+ on ebay or somewhere else and get a 4850????

i kinda want to xfire i have a p45 mobo so what do you guys think???? are any of you in the market for a 3-week old 9800GTX+???

i would personally rather have the 4850, but the performance is pretty much dead even. although if crossfire is something you intend to use eventually, then the 4850 is a no-brainer.

Toss up performance wise I think. But the HD4850 will let you crossfire later, and can be had for $170-$200 or so.

$130 - $190 depending on which 512mb version you like!! When you get towards the $190 mark you might as well get the 4870 card!!
