Pagefile Tags: SSD Pagefile Storage Last response: June 24, 2010 6:22 PM in Storage Share darkmonkey June 24, 2010 11:08:41 AM i have a 16gb ssd i use for my pagefile [i have 8gb ram] its to small to install w7 on for my other systems and dont know a better use for it. was using it for my xp server but move that to WHS. not 100% sure if it helps my system is there a better way to use this 16gb ssd? and does anyone know how i can move my hibernation file to it too. my OS drive is 3x32gb raid 0 ssd More about : pagefile blackhawk1928 a b G Storage June 24, 2010 6:22:51 PM Well if you have a lot of RAM, you can disable the pagefile as you don't need it. You can also disable hibernation. This can save massive amounts of storage space depending on how much RAM you have. You can take the 16GB SSD and sell if you want. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
