Hi, I bought a 250GB HDD 2 years ago and now it is listed as 220GB. I only have 1 Partition, no recovery etc. I know that HDDs wear out over time but does the OS automatically update itself to show the amount of space available after HDD wear?

232.8 GB should be the formatted size of a 250 GB drive.
Go into disk management and see if there is any unused space on the drive.
What does the bios show as the size?
