First time i started my new computer bios show 12gb but windows (XP-64bit) only
8gb? But the second time I checked bios it only show 8gb? I have tested "CPU-Z"
and it show 12gb!?
I think it's should be your memory issue. I have the same board with 2 set of Corsair 6GB (Total of 12GB) and i can see 12GB both in the windows and bios. My memory part # is TR3X6G1866C7GT

What shall I do to fix it? I have tested stick by stick and then I can see 2gb in bios on every stick but only from slot 4!? If I try slot 1-3 computer doesn´t start?
When I try with only 6gb bios only show 4gb!?

If your using tri channel RAM, which it looks like you are. They need to be in the correct slots. The first kit in DIMM A1, B1, C1. Then the second kit in A2, B2, C2. If you've read your motherboard mannual carefully you'd know this.

A2 A1 B2 B1 C2 C1
I have them in correct slots. First kit of 2x3gb A1, B1, C1 second kit of 2x3gb A2, B2, C2
If you look in CPU-Z, does it show all of the DIMMs properly? Do they all show up during POST? If so, it is likely a windows issue, not a hardware issue.

I have tested Vista ultimate 64 and it´s the same problem så I don´t think it´s a windows problem.
i think it's a ram issue.Check all your ram and see whether or not your pc could boot up
you could try 3 first on slot 2,4,6 then 1,3,5
i am using p6t deluxe v2 too and i used to have ram problem too.The problems were solved after i changed the psu and the three sticks of ram(one of them died)

Best two guesses... One, its a power setting (in BIOS) for your RAM. Make sure that you are running @ MFG's recommended settings. Two, you have a bad DIMM slot (or two).

P.S
Standard DDR3 Voltage=1.64v
you probaly need more to maintain stability in such a large amount of ram
qpi also
I wouldn't think that you would have to up the memory voltage - the QPI may need to be raised a bit though. On mine, the required memory voltage doesn't change between 6 and 12 GB, but the required QPI voltage goes up by a bit (1.26 to 1.31 IIRC)

Hello; after3ds. I can't remember were I read this, but if your computer will run one memory stick in what ever slot you said 2 or 3 and it reports it correctly; then use the one stick and " UPGRADE YOUR BIOS". Then install all of your memory and see if it reports correctly. ASUS "support" or your "manual" should reference that issue.
I had this exact same issue. But I had an idea on how to remedy it for a while but was too lazy too try it out. Anyway, did it just this morning and it took nearly 10 minutes to finish but it works and now 12gb shows up no worries. So here is what I did.
Step#1
Remove all the memory from the black slots. Leave the orange slots occupied
Step#2
Boot through bios to confirm you have just 6gb
Step#3
Replace 1 stick into the black slot nearest the cpu and reboot to confirm 8gb
Step #4
Replace 1 stick into next black slot nearest cpu and reboot again for 10gb
Step#5
Replace last stick into last slot for 12gb and reboot and smile.
I have my bios set to the slow boot tests. The one that counts the memory at a much slower rate. Don't know if you'll need that set or not.
If at any stage you don't get the right amount of memory from the bios try moving the stick you last put in, into a different slot. The chances of you actually needing to RMA either your sticks or your board are slim. Having to do both are VERY slim so I would recommend anyone having this issue try this first. It worked for me and I got the idea off someone else so it must have worked for someone else.
Oh, and aside from changing the setting to run at 1600, I haven't touched ANY memory or cpu settings. They are all on auto for the time being.
I have the same issue with corsair HX3X12G1600C9G. Looks like mother board issue.
Asus P6T Delux user guide on page 2-16 quotes " According to intel spec definition, DDR3-1600 is supported for one DIMM per channel only. ASUS exclusively provides two DDR3-1600 DIMM for each memory channel." I beleive ASUS could not get it quite right.
