CM Hyper 212+ price jump, justified?

Hey guys,

I poking around the Egg today and noticed something very surprising: The Cooler Master Hyper 212+ is priced at $59.99.

Last time I checked (maybe a month ago), it was $29.99. I recognize that hardware prices fluctuate, but that is a major price jump!

What gives? Is CM justified in doing this?

And, more importantly, is the CM Hyper 212+ worth it at it's new price range?

Absolutely not worth that kind of dough!
You can shop around and still find it for $30.
Must be very short in supply thus the mark-up.
For $60 you can buy Thermalrights, Prolimatechs,Scythes,....etc

They just had it a couple of days ago at Microcenter for $20 + $5 shipping and now it's gone.

I like how you call it "brick and mortar" Forte125. Based on all the comments it sounds like it is more of a "supply' issue rather than "demand."

Oh and btw, Microcenter rocks. Core i7 930 for ~$200, that's an awesome deal too.
