My Cruzer Titanium 8 GB flash was working fine !

Hi,
My Cruzer Titanium 8 GB flash was working fine. It felt on the ground about 1 meter high but there was no effect . It seemed perfect. when I tried to use it, it flashes on but does not work. when I check my computer & click on removable disk, it shows "the disk in drive H is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?"
I have data files that I do need and I don't have back up. What should I do?

Just about the only potential fix I can think of would be to try and use it on another computer and see if it works. If it does, copy the data off of it and then format it.
