I've tried googling and searching here, but can't see what I'm looking for...

So.

Is it possible to assign (through software or hardware) multiple network drives - wether firewire or ethernet or eSATA the network isn't set up yet so options are still open - a single drive letter.

Dealing with very large files with access points in various places, but dont want to have to hunt around for things... lets say I want video I want it all on one "drive" even if that's made up of several network drives. This would also allow for cheaper expansion that the big enclosures.

NO. What your asking for is a raid over network which I don't believe is possible.

What I would do is make a directory on one NAS drive and then put a short cut to it in your Network Places folder. No more searching.
