I was wondering if someone might be willing to help me out? Currently running a Pentium E5200 at 2.5gHz with a 1GB nVidia 9500GT graphics card and 2gb of standard value RAM, 1.16TB hdd with Windows XP on an MSI P7N 750i mobo.

Well, a 750i is not the ideal platform to overclock on. :p

"2GB standard value RAM" is not enough info.

You'll need an aftermarket cooler and paste for the CPU as well.

There is an overclocking forum right here with some guides as well.

Is this machine for gaming?

Yes, this is primarily a gaming machine. And by 2 gigs of standard value RAM, I mean just that: The same RAM you'd get from a low-end Best Buy machine. I think it's clocked at 533, but am unsure as the DIMMs are not labeled, and I can't find the exact specs anywhere in Windows OR the BIOS... I have 2 gigs of 1066 at the ready, but my current board won't support that speed. I'm looking into a replacement, but I can't find anything in my price range (under $150).

You are looking for a new board? Dump the crappy nVidia chipset and get a P45:

And you don't need 1066 RAM to overclock an E5200, 800Mhz RAM will do.

800 would work, but I picked up the 1066 for about thirty bucks. And I'm liking the board you linked, might throw that on the list... Think it tops this P43 I found for 90 bucks? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3952221&CatId=1533

Yep the UD3P is top of the heap in LGA 775 boards.

The ASRock is a great overclocker if you want to spend a bit less:

My only problem with that board is that it has only one fan connector, and my tower uses two 3-pin fans (since I can't seem to find a Molex fan controller...) Other than that, it looks pretty solid!
