Hard read only error

Hello,
i open hiren s boot cd and open partition magic
this message appear
the hard disk is set to read only
and cannot format or resize any partition
how can i solve this problem

You do not need Hiren's Boot CD to use Partition Magic. You should be running Partition Magic from your OS's HDD. What are you trying to do?
