I have a problem regarding my modem. I'm using cable to connect D-link DSL-2400T. When I switch on the modem first then follow by my

computer, the modem connect to internet smoothly. When I switch on the computer then follow by the modem the connection

it shows limited connectivity and unidentified network . To connect back to internet, I have to restart the computer.I'm using window vista 64 bit. Is modem

problem?

Why not leave the modem on all the time?
Modem - router - computer is the normal sequence you follow on a reset of everything.
