Try updating the bios of the mobo to the newest possible

Remember that the MBR and OS will take up some of the HD space. You will never realize the entire size of the HD.

I know what's the problem. You did not format your partitions. Right click Computer > Manage. Disk Management. Click empty space and create a new partition. Enable Quick Format.

How will that make the BIOS recognize the whole disk?
