not sure whether it is my headset or my sound card, but i am having all kinds of problems lately.
At first it was a simple problem of the smart port on the sound card being set to line in. I switched it to microphone and now there is a ton of white noise. the hissing (lk the headphones are turned up to high, which i made sure they were't) only seems to happen when i have the smart port set to microphone mode.
I have tried everything i could think of, and i have search on this and other forums for similar problems but i can't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated
