I got a new motherboard, the first one was bad. This one has been fine but I shut it down to reconnect the speaker and LED's and nowwhen I power it on is gets through POST and shuts down.

I was getting an error that the CPU was overheating after just turning it on. I set to ignore that and checked and the fan is running. I was thinking maybe the bios needed updated but haven't had a chance to do that yet.

This happened after I installed Windows Vista 64, I am thrilled with the speed and the motherboard. At this point I left it off and will check it in the morning. I am using the stock fan that with the CPU. It is a 2.66 Ghz i7.

Thanks for any suggestions. I did check the fan and reseated it and made sure it was locked down well. I will recheck everything else in the morning.

Thanks
