This new year i am planning to build my new rig...
What do u think of my build? any suggestion is highly recommended..

Proc:Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6800 (already buy)

Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-UD3R

RAM:Kingston DDR2 -800 value ram

Graphic card: HD 4850 (hopefully xfx will come with good gf for ati in 2009)

Case: Gigabyte Triton 180

PSU: Silverstone Strider ST50F 500w

Hard Disk: Western Digital 320gb..

Thermal Paste: Artic Cooling MX-2

Heatsink: Xigmatek HDT-SD963

Keyboard+mouse: Cooler Master Slim X keyboard and Neo E

Fuh.. This is my best combination that i can come up with my budget.. hope anyone will help me if have any opinion...

if your looking to get a bigger and badder GPU later i think you should look into a more powerful PSU... 600W is a little safer and you will have a longer life expectancy for it.

but 500 watt is enough already for this system right??

GPUs suck up power and if your psu is running at or near full capacity all the time it will have a lower life expectancy. 500 is sufficient but it would be better in the long run for your system to have 600.
