This is one drive, not 2 in RAID 0, right?

Does Corsiar has any SSD utilities on their website? I know Intel and OCZ do.

Can you partition it up, and leave 20% (24GB) unallocated, unused, and unformatted? That's what we have to do for SSD in RAID 0. I think you can do it in Disk Management in Win7.

Do you have an Intel based mobo (X58 or P55), having the ICH10R controller? If so, are the SATA settings in BIOS set to ACHI? At least not IDE Enhanced or Compatible!

All other tweaks I know about shouldn't degrade it like that: The SSD Review. Personally, I didn't do ANY of these tweaks, for my own reasons.

If not, and "out of luck" I'd tag (send a personal message to) XMSYellowbeard. His signature says he's "Corsair Tech Support."

Here ae some quick screen shot on how to add a "simple volume" or partition up an existing drive.

First image: My SSD shows 3 partions, note the 3rd one is unallocated:

Second image: Shows how you can "Shrink the Volume" to add a partition, if you right click inside the drive partition:

To get here: start/computer/right-click/choose manage/choose disk management on the left pane.

Hope this helps. :hello:
