So it appears that the 295 is only two 260's right? Why didn't they just put two 280's together and will that be the next card that we should all be waiting for? I am looking to buy a new card, so should I be looking at the 295 or wait just a little while longer?

Will this card OC very well because I am only seeing all manufactures at the same core and memory speeds.

it's some sort of die shrinked hybrid between 260 and 280, you get the vram from 260 but the shaders from 280... ...times two.. or something like that

Meh. Grab either two GTX 285's or two HD 4850/4870's. GTX 295 is too loud.
