Hi my motherboard sports a p965 Chipset which support intel RAID via the southbridge and J micron RAID via a secondary controller, which on is gennerally better.

Also what is the basic process of installing Software raid. I have two nearly identical HDD, so i reckon i am gonna use R0

Intel is the better one. Which OS? The Intel Matrix RAID drivers are included with Vista, but you need to download them for XP and follow the procedure.
