I have an Optiplex 755 with a quad core in it. I want to add in an EGA 8800. However, the card is to long and hits the CPU heat sink.

Has anyone put a low profile cooler in one of these machines? If so what do you recommend?

Sycthe has a pretty good low profile cooler line up. I have a mini ninja myself. Maybe you should check them out, they are designed for HTPC cases.
