Whats the best graphics card to get

ok i have a 2.2ghz cpu which is unclockable(if that is the right term) so im not sure what video card i should get that my cpu wouldn't bottleneck was think about a 9800gt,9600gt,9600gso,9500gt,8600gt maximum price im willing to spend is a 150 because i also need to upgrade my psu to a 600w and add 2 gigs of ram.

current specs

intergrated graphics card/6100gpu
pci express slot= 1
amd 4200+ 64x2
ram 1gb
os xp professional
psu 300 watts

this will be a big upgrade for me

btw its a gateway pc
my praents bought it last summer 2008
and its a piece of crap for 700$ agree right

The fastest and easiest is a HD4670 with stock PSU, add the RAM and you're good to go. Next choice i'd go with is a new power supply and a HD4830 or the 9800GT (both about equal in performance)

+1 for the 4670 Its the most you can do without upgrading your PSU. Is the PCI-E splot x16?

edit:So by looking at your Avatar I'm guessing you are going to be playing Spore, so yeah +1 for the 4670/4830. (I HATE DRM......If you didn't get the hacked version you got some ting very smiler to a Rootkit on your OS)
