Hey there I'm new to this site and I was hoping I could get some help. I have an ASUS P5N-E mobo along with a 9800gtx+ graphics card. the one PCI-E slot does not work on the mobo and it is physically impossible to put my video card in the other slot because the SATA headers are in the way of this huge card. I was wondering if it's possible to convert the sata cable to usb instead and plug it in externally to one of the usb ports. otherwise I might have to start looking for a new mobo with a better setup. any help is appreciated =]

Do you know why the pci-e slot doesn't work? On P5N-E boards you usually have to put the GPU in the first pci-e slot or it won't work.

well when i boot up the system i get 1 long beep and 3 short beeps after. I looked around in some forums and they state they are video issues. I put my video card in without the sata connectors and booted up and only got the one post beep. Maybe i should just use IDE?
