Hi everyone !
I got a mother board that support PCi X 16X 1.0, I would like to know if I upgrade my video card with a 4870X2 if I am gonna loose a lot of performance due to the limitation of PCi X 1.0 ? Currently I own a 8800GT ...

Thank You

No, it shouldn't (if it dose you probably will only loose 5fps max). You may notice it if you CrossFire.

It probably won't but why upgrade now. The 8800GT is still a pretty decent card wait maybe 5 months. Just my opinion

The X2's are the only ones that get close to bottlenecking. If you're worried, you could just get a 4870 (1). What is probably more important though is the rest of your system (CPU, RAM, MB, PS, etc.)
